• Where is there justice in the world?
  • How can I make sense of my Spirituality?
  • Is there a God?
  • Is there more to life than I am currently experiencing?
  • Why do I feel guilty?
  • What about my relationships, can they be any better?
  • What happens to me when  I die?
  • Is Jesus real?
  • How can I get to know God for myself?

At King's we welcome questions.  We have all asked these kinds of questions.  And we have started to find some answers in the person of Jesus Christ.

Christianity is not a religion.  It is about following Jesus Christ. It's trusting him with your life and your future. It's about your need for the love and forgiveness of Jesus to put right our broken relationship with God.

The Three Ways

People often say that there are two ways to live: Our way or God's way.

In fact there are three ways. Sure there is definitely a way in life marked NOT GOD'S WAY. And you might live like that... without any interest or reference to God.

Another route is RELIGION. You follow rules and rites. You try to live morally and do your best for others. You may often succeed but underneath you have a compelling thought that this isn't enough. And you are right. Jesus' criticism of the religious people of his day was not that they were not religious enough. It was that their religion, any religion, doesn't work!

And that's why there is a third way. It's called GRACE.

Grace says that all your efforts to do good will never be enough. Grace says that you know that God is not impressed with you but that God is very impressed with his Son Jesus Christ, who lived a perfect life and died on the cross in your place. Grace says that you can know the love and freedom and goodness of God as a free gift by faith in Jesus Christ - “Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us...” Romans 5:1, 2 (New Living Translation)

Too good to be true?

Pray something like this: Dear God, I am so sorry for ignoring you, rejecting you and not living my life for you. I understand that Jesus Christ died on the cross in my place.  Please forgive me. Please come into my life.  I choose today to live for you all the days of my life. Amen.
