Finding your place in the family at King's and getting plugged in is vital. We daily support, encourage and celebrate with each other, through life's inevitable ups and downs. We regularly pray for and counsel one another about circumstances in our lives and see changes as a result of God's power and love towards us.
A Pattern in the New Testament
Acts 2:46 (NIV) - Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts...
From the earliest days meeting in homes was part of the life of the church.
Groups of Friends
Little families within the bigger King's family. Groups at King's are a key place where we can make connections, and find friendship, fun and support within the King's family. In these small groups we can encounter God and seek His direction for our lives, as we learn more about his character and love for us. Groups of friends meet weekly on various nights throughout the city.
As a citywide church we havea heaps of activities taking place in all sorts of places and spaces which anyone can attend - getting together to have fun, build friendships and encourage each other. From sports teams to choirs and pre-schooler mornings - there's something for everyone.
Our hope is that everyone in our church family would have at least one or two people in their life who knows them well and can encourage them in their walk with God. Chatting together about what God has been saying to them and prayng through issues - doing life together!
