Newfrontiers is a worldwide family of churches together on a mission, with over 700 churches worldwide.
With a passionate commitment to build the church according to New Testement principles, we believe that the most effective form of evangelism is worked out from strong local churches. These are local churches where each member participates, the gifts of the Spirit are outworked, there is joy in caring one for another, there is a desire to make a difference in society and an urgency to reach those in need. We aim to achieve this by:
- Restoring the church
- Making disciples
- Training leaders
- Starting churches
- Reaching nations
Some years ago Terry Virgo, a church leader from Brighton in UK, and others began to see that a truly New Testament church must acknowledge and receive the Ephesians 4 ministries of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. Ephesians 4 ministries have developed to varying degrees in different parts of the world. God has called Newfrontiers to work together across the nations through men with apostolic gifts who are led by Terry.
